(ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) is observing Hispanic Heritage Month in the communities of Legislative District 1.
In Rockville Centre, he joined the Hispanic Brotherhood of Rockville Centre and colleagues in Village government on Thursday, Oct. for their annual Hispanic Heritage Month celebration. Later that evening, he took part in Hempstead Village’s celebration, which was held at Kennedy Memorial Park.
“Each fall during Hispanic Heritage Month, Nassau County and our nation celebrate the rich history and profound contributions that Hispanic Americans make in every aspect of our society,” Legislator Davis said. “The Hispanic Brotherhood and my colleagues in Rockville Centre and Hempstead Village do a wonderful job highlighting the richness of our diversity and how it strengthens the fabric of America in so many ways.”
