In response to reports of attempted voter intimidation at a Levittown early voting site over the weekend by an extremist group called the Long Island Patriots, Nassau County Legislature Minority Leader Kevan M. Abrahams (D – Freeport) wrote to NCPD Commissioner Patrick Ryder to request enhanced police presence and heightened vigilance at voting sites to ensure that Nassau residents can exercise their most sacred Constitutional right without interference.
