(HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) recently met with the team of Hempstead Caring Hearts and toured the not-for-profit organization’s two locations in the Village. Using a coordinated approach, Hempstead Caring Hearts’ mission is to provide comprehensive services to aid unhoused individuals and other highly vulnerable community members. “Hempstead Caring Hearts’s temporary housing programs not only treats their residents with respect and dignity, but their programs also help the people they serve find their footing with casework, job applications, clothes, food, and more. We are so grateful for everything that Hempstead Caring Hearts does for people in need, and I was thankful for the opportunity to tour their facilities.”
