(MALVERNE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) proudly attended the annual Firefighters Burn Center Benefit at the Malverne Fire Department on Sunday, April 13. Hosted by Nassau County 4th Battalion Fire District and the Nassau County Firefighters Burn Center Foundation, the event raised funds in support of the state-of-the-art, 12,000 square-foot burn center housed at Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC).
“NUMC’s exemplary burn center provides essential care for our region and treats its patients with outstanding expertise and compassion,” Legislator Davis said. “I am proud of the Rockville Centre Fire Department, the entirety of the Fourth Battalion and their Nassau County Firefighters Burn Center Foundation for leading the way on such an important cause.”
