[ARCHIVED] Legislator Abrahams Partners with Roosevelt PAL to Host Youth Summer Double-Dutch Clinic

(ROOSEVELT, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Kevan M. Abrahams (D - Freeport) and the Roosevelt Police Activity League (PAL) launched its five-week series of free Double Dutch clinics for youngsters ages 7 and up at the Rev. Arthur Mackey Park on Monday, July 11 in Roosevelt. During the clinics, children will learn the fundamentals of jumping rope and rope turning.

“These local clinics are perfect for parents who are looking for fun, athletic, summer outlets for their children,” Legislator Abrahams said. “I am proud to partner with the Roosevelt PAL to present these Double Dutch clinics, and I am thankful to all of the instructors who are helping to keep our youth active this summer.

The remaining clinics are set for 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. on Monday evenings from July 18 – August 29.
