(ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) joined the community on Saturday, Nov. 16 for the Village’s annual 5K race and one-mile fun run. The event attracted hundreds of athletes of all ages and ability levels who took to the streets for a morning of good-natured competition. “Rockville Centre’s annual 5K is such an upbeat community event that brings the people out of their houses to cheer you on in the race – and it is great to see how it continues to grow in popularity,” Legislator Davis said. “Thank you to Mayor Murray, all of the Village staff, the Chamber of Commerce, our police and firefighters, and all of the runners for making this such a special occasion in our community each year.”
