WHAT: Nassau County Legislator Kevan M. Abrahams (D - Freeport) announces a series of New York State Emergency Preparedness Workshops that are being hosted in the month of October. Presented by the State’s Citizens Preparedness Corps, the workshops are designed to equip residents with the tools and resources to prepare for any type of disaster, respond accordingly and recover as quickly as possible to pre-disaster conditions. Each family participating will receive a free Citizen Preparedness Corps Response Starter Kit.
