(MINEOLA, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Kevan Abrahams (D - Freeport) supports the United States Marine Corps in their effort to help bring holiday cheer by donating new toys to their Toys for Tots campaign during a presentation on Monday, Oct 28th.
Each year, the United States Marine Corps collects more than 200, 000 toys for over 100, 000 children across Long Island through the Toys for Tots campaign. The campaign collects new unwrapped toys to distribute to families who are facing hardships during the holiday season.
“I’m proud to support Major Chuck Kilbride and the United States Marine Corps in their tireless efforts to bring holiday joy to families across Long Island,” said Legislator Kevan Abrahams. “The work that the Marine Corps does to help relieve the financial pressures for families in need is beyond encouraging.”
