(EAST MEADOW, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Kevan Abrahams (D - Freeport) celebrated the 28th annual East Meadow Community Pride Day, hosted by the Kiwanis Club of East Meadow and the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce at the Veterans Memorial Park on Saturday, June 8th. Residents were able to connect with vendors and organizations to collect information about different services offered locally. Festivities also included food from local restaurants, games and bounce houses for children.
“Every year, the Kiwanis Club of East Meadow and the East Meadow of Chamber of Commerce does an amazing job bringing residents together to celebrate East Meadow,” said Legislator Abrahams. “I am proud to support community-building events like these across the district and look forward to this tradition continuing for many years to come.”
