WHAT
Nassau County Legislator Kevan Abrahams (D – Freeport), in conjunction with Hofstra University Law School, the Health and Welfare Council of Long Island, Nassau Suffolk Law Services, New York Legal Assistance Group, the Nassau County Bar Association, and Empire Justice Center announces an upcoming legal clinic. Residents seeking assistance with legal issues related to public benefits, immigration, housing and consumer crime are encouraged to attend.
Residents can meet one-on-one with a volunteer attorney for limited legal guidance and direction. Translation will be available for most languages including services for the hard of hearing. (Note - attorneys will not provide free legal representation.)
