WHAT: In an effort to bridge gaps in communication between residents and law enforcement, Nassau County Legislature Minority Leader Kevan M. Abrahams (D – Freeport) will host a community policing forum to facilitate an open dialogue with community residents. Residents will have the opportunity to discuss and express their concerns related to building healthy relationships with law enforcement, enhancing community safety, and how to interact with law enforcement.
WHO: Nassau County Legislature Minority Leader Kevan Abrahams will be joined by Nassau County Police Department Commissioner Patrick Ryder, the Legislative District One Commissioner’s Community Council, and community members.
